Creating Missions in Bulk

You can create multiple missions in one go via a CSV upload. This feature is intended to ease the mission manager’s efforts when setting up a large number of missions simultaneously.

The number of missions that can be created through a single CSV file upload is limited to 50.

  1. On the Missions page, click Create and then click Missions In Bulk (CSV).

  1. The Create mission in bulk from file page is displayed.

  2. Click Download Sample and save the data template to the local hard disk.

  3. Fill out the required details in the downloaded template file. The following table describes the column in the template CSV file.

Field

Description

Mission

Enter a name for the mission.

The mission name must contain 5 to 50 characters.

Project

Enter the name of the project under which you are creating the mission.

This field is not a mandatory field and can be left blank when an Ad-HOC mission needs to be created.

Milestone

Enter the name of the milestone under which you are creating the mission.

This field is not a mandatory field and must be left blank when an Ad-HOC mission needs to be created.

Site Name

Enter the name of the site under which you are creating the mission.

If you have defined a project and milestone, ensure that the site belongs to the site group that is mapped to the defined milestone.

Drone Type

Enter the type of drone under which you want to use for the mission.

Mission Date

Enter the mission date.

Mission date must be entered in the dd-mm-yyyy format and cannot be earlier than the current date.

Mission Start Time

Enter the start time of the mission.

Mission start time must be entered in the hour: minute: second format and must not be close to the current time.

Mission End Time

Enter the end time of the mission.

Mission end time must be entered in the hour: minute: second format and cannot be earlier that mission start time.

Is Live Mission

  • If the mission should be live streamed, enter TRUE

  • If the mission should not be live streamed, enter FALSE

Live streamed missions will be charged as per your license.

  1. Once all the mission details are entered in the file, save the file.

  2. Now on the Create mission in bulk from file page, click Browse and upload the CSV file.
    A preview of the file is displayed.

  3. Click Create Missions.
    The newly created missions are added to the Missions page and can be viewed on the milestones and missions timeline.

The bulk missions created are in DRAFT stage. You need to add flight(s) and assign resources to schedule these missions

  1. Once all the mission details are entered in the file, save the file.

  2. Now on the Create mission in bulk from file page, click Browse and upload the CSV file.
    A preview of the file is displayed.

  3. Click Create Missions.
    The newly created missions are added to the Missions page and can be viewed on the milestones and missions timeline.
